Jorge Corona, MD

Join Dr. Jorge Corona in the operating room as he performs endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomies (DCRs) on eight patients (three bilateral cases) with different kinds of lacrimal drainage obstruction.  Each case includes endoscopic views and meticulous tube placement (both Crawford and Jones tubes are shown in this series), with an emphasis on careful incision, flap creation, and bleeding control.  Adult and pediatric patients are treated, demonstrating a variety of presenting problems, and management of intraoperative surprises, such as encountering dacryoliths and excessive bleeding.

8 Cases Including over 4 Hours of Operative Video!

Case 1: 72-year-old female patient with bilateral dacryostenosis, treated with bilateral endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomies (DCRs), limited anterior ethmoidectomies, and bilateral lacrimal intubation
